Jennifer Kurtz

Jennifer Kurtz works with entrepreneurs to build sustainable business practices and achieve compliance with information security standards like ISO 27001 and NIST 800-171. She has developed and taught graduate courses in cybersecurity at Regis University since 2011; authored Hacking Wireless Access Points: Cracking, Tracking, and Signal Jacking (2016) and a chapter of The Data Breach and Encryption Handbook (2011); written numerous articles on cybersecurity; and designed online cybersecurity courses for small businesses and individuals. Jennifer was the IT manager for an international automotive manufacturer, project manager for the Indiana manufacturing extension partnership, and award-winning director of ecommerce for the State of Indiana. She is the cyber program director for Manufacturer’s Edge, Colorado’s NIST manufacturing extension partner, for which she writes a regular column, Simply Cyber, and participates as a member of the NIST MEP Cybersecurity Steering Committee.

Through the Denver Metro and Pikes Peak SBDCs, Jennifer has co-led the Leading Edge for Transportation/Construction Industry program and the Growth Catalyst Business Coaching program. She holds an MBA and PMP certification.

Coryn Mann

Coryn D. Mann is the owner of Corvus Technologies, LLC. She has extensive experience in subcontract management, supply chain management, and procurement. In her career, Coryn has focused on serving the federal government, leveraging her skills from 11 years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force and 14 years of defense subcontracting services. She is dedicated to lowering costs and fostering competition using subcontract management best practices through the Subcontract Lifecycle.

Coryn established Corvus Technologies, LLC with her husband Eric to combine their talents and provide subject matter expertise in the fields of compliance, cybersecurity, NIST SP 800-171 and subcontract management services.

Eric Mann

Eric A. Mann established Corvus Technologies, LLC with his wife Coryn to combine their talents and provide subject matter expertise in the fields of Compliance, Cybersecurity, NIST SP 800-171 and Subcontract Management services. Eric has honed his Cybersecurity career and is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over 20 years combined experience in systems administration, enterprise computing optimization, systems certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and information assurance.

His diverse background helps to uniquely position Corvus Technologies, LLC for projects that bridge the gap between Compliance and Cybersecurity. Eric leverages experience and best practices from multiple industries while adhering to customer specific rules and regulations.

Shawn Murray

Shawn Murray is a Principal Scientist and the President/CEO at Murray Security Services. He is assigned to the U.S. Missile Defense Agency as a Senior Cyber Security Professional and is an officer in the U.S. Civil Air Patrol. Dr. Murray has worked with the NSA, FBI, CIA and the U.S. Defense and State Departments on various cyber initiatives and has over 20 years of IT, Communications, and Cyber Security experience.

His previous assignments include work with the U.S. Army Cyber Command in Europe, the U.S. Air Force, and with commercial industry in various roles of Information Assurance and Cyber Security. He has traveled the globe performing physical and cybersecurity assessments on critical national defense and coalition programs and has prepared reports for the House Armed Services Committee. Dr Murray also serves on the International Board of Directors for the Information Systems Security Association.

Mark Spencer

Since 1993, Mark Spencer has been an experienced cybersecurity professional. He’s held a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification #5218 since 1997. He was Adjunct Associate Professor of Computer Security at Colorado Technical University for five years and developed much of the undergraduate coursework for the Computer Security concentration in Computer Science. He was Adjunct Associate Professor of Computer Security for Regis University for two years.

Now, Mr. Spencer is a member of the Industry Advisory Board, Colorado State University- Fort Collins, Computer Science Department, the Industry Advisory Board, Regis University, Computer Science Department, and the Business and Industry Leadership Team for Arapaho Community College in Littleton, Colorado. He is an experienced speaker at conferences and leader in training cybersecurity subjects. He is a past president of the Colorado Springs chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and helped grow the chapter from a handful of members to one of the largest chapters in the world. He is a Distinguished Fellow of ISSA and a member of the ISSA Honor Roll.
