Proposal Assistance Funding Opportunity

The Colorado SBDC TechSource: Commercialization program has funding available to help women-owned, minority-owned and/or rural-based science and technology businesses access private resources for assistance with SBIR/STTR proposal development.

Grant awards will be up to $1,000/business. Funding is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Preference will be given to businesses that have not received this grant in the past as well as those that are using service providers headquartered in the State of Colorado.

Businesses must be a science and technology venture based in Colorado that is women-owned, minority-owned and/or located in rural Colorado to be eligible to apply.

Awarded businesses must request an invoice from their chosen service provider for the grant amount awarded. The invoice must be made out and provided to the SBDC TechSource program for payment by September 9, 2022. This can be in advance of services, if necessary. The full invoice or proposal must be included, showing the grant credit. If the invoice is not provided by the deadline, the grant award will be forfeited.

The deadline to apply is August 19, 2022, unless funds are depleted prior to this date.

Here is a list of potential SBIR/STTR service providers. Please note that not all of these companies provide proposal writing services, but rather, they may assist with other aspects of the SBIR/STTR process. You are welcome to work with one of the companies on this list, or another company of your choosing. If you represent a company that specifically provides SBIR/STTR proposal writing assistance, and would like to be added to our list of recommended providers, please contact us. We do not currently have other funding opportunities for those businesses that don’t fit the criteria listed above. However, if you are registered for our newsletter (sign up at the bottom of this page), you will be notified if opportunities do become available.
